At Bank of Belton, the basis of each customer relationship is trust. We are committed to providing the highest level of security and privacy regarding the collection and use of our customers' personal information. We believe that your privacy should not be compromised. At the same time, we want to offer you the array of financial products and services that may help you accomplish your financial goals. We believe we can do both through the privacy policy outlined below.

We recognize your right to privacy and the fact that you have a right to expect your personal financial information to remain private and secure. We will maintain standards to ensure that your information is private and secure at all times.

We collect, retain and use information about you only where we reasonably believe that it will help administer our business or provide products, services and other opportunities to you. We collect and retain information about you only for specified business purposes.

Maintenance of Accurate Information
We continually strive to maintain complete and accurate information about you and your accounts. Should you ever believe that our records contain inaccurate information about you, please notify us. We will investigate your concern and correct any inaccuracies.

Limitations on Employee Access to information
All Bank of Belton employees are taught that all customer information is considered private  and privileged and is to be used solely for the purpose of providing you with the finest service available . Employee access to customer information is limited to those with a business reason to know such information.

Protection of Information via Established Security Procedures We safeguard information according to established security standards and procedures and we continually assess new technology for protecting information.We maintain and grant access to customer information only in accordance with our internal security standards.

Restrictions on the Disclosure of Account Information

We do not reveal specific information about your accounts or other personally identifiable data to parties outside our affiliated companies for their independent use unless:

We do not provide account or personal information to non-Bank of Belton companies for the purpose of independent telemarketing or mail marketing of any non-financial products or services of those companies.

Members of our corporate family ( affiliates ) are Overland Bancorp., Inc. ( bank holding company ) and First Trust of MidAmerica.

Maintaining Customer Privacy in Business Relationships with Third Parties
When the bank must use the services of third parties we require those vendors and suppliers to agree in writing to maintain similar standards of conduct regarding the privacy of personally identifiable customer information.

Providing Privacy Information to Customers and Responding to Inquires
Bank of Belton recognizes and respects the privacy expectations of our customers. We want our customers to understand our commitment to privacy in our use of customer information. If you have any questions about our privacy principles please call us at 816-331-4888. As a general policy, Bank of Belton does not automatically collect personal information from visitors to our web site. We do not use "cookies". We do not collect personal information, nor is it used to identify you or your e-mail address. Any information that may be collected from consumer-initiated inquiries is used to assist us in returning information.
